/ My story
From scale-up to Accelr
Before I started Accelr, I was Country Manager Netherlands at ShowHeroes, a European adtech scale-up. There I built the Dutch operation from scratch: from first client to a profitable market with a structural commercial team.
Before that, I worked 6+ years in B2B sales at Streamads, Ematters and XS4ALL. Nyenrode Business University alumnus.
What I learned there:
- Setting up sales processes where there were none
- CRM implementation and pipeline management
- Closing deals from €10K to €500K+ with enterprise clients
- Managing teams and building commercial operations
- The reality that 80% of sales success comes from the system, not the talent
What I saw time and time again with tech founders: brilliant products, but no sales engine. The founder does all the sales themselves, there's no process, no CRM, no strategy. Growth depends on chance and network.
That's why I started Accelr.
